      OVERVIEW

      As a member of the Global Human Resources Functional Team and assigned to a specific location and client group(s), the HR Assistant position contributes a high level of energy to the implementation of ASR Group people and organization strategy. The individual must be able to deliver high-quality results in support of the department objectives.

      DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Assist in resolving employee inquiries related to employment, benefits as well as other HR issues as they arise.
      • Recruit and hire candidates to fill vacancies within targeted cycle time.
      • Coordinate elements of hiring process including recruitment, phone screen, interview, background check, medical physical, etc.
      • Prepare new hire paperwork and files.
      • Coordinate the new hire on-boarding process.
      • Verifies I-9 documentation at time of hire and reverifications.
      • Assist in the enrollment and maintenance of benefits administration.
      • Proactively participate in local communication/engagement plans aimed at optimizing employee engagement and creating a positive and inclusive work environment
      • Maintain internal HRIS system and other e-service systems by entering any employee change information (new hires, changes, terminations, promotions, transfers, etc.). Update changes to the employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll, benefit carriers and other internal/external areas.
      • Maintains attendance data per policies and escalates attendance issues to supervisors.
      • Manage personnel files and any other administrative tasks, in a high quality confidential manner.
      • Prepare and review department invoices for accuracy.
      • Assist with paperwork related to ensuring compliance of AAP, ADA, FMLA.
      • Drive continuous improvement in all HR processes.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      ESSENTIAL WORK EXPERIENCES

      • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resource required.
      • High skill level in Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Excel, Word).
      • Ability to speak with a high level of professionalism and presence to individuals or groups.

      ESSENTIAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

      • High school diploma or GED required
      • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline from an accredited university preferred.
